I GAVE A SPEECH about Qigong a few years ago and a man came up to me afterwards and said he had been practicing Qigong for many years. He said he'd even gone to China to study and he knew that Qigong was very difficult to learn. He couldn't understand why I said Spring Forest Qigong was simple to learn. "Qigong is hard to learn," he said.
I suggested that he give Spring Forest Qigong a try and see for himself just how simple Qigong can be.
I understood very well what he was saying. For many, many years, I thought Qigong was very difficult to learn. Indeed, the way my masters taught me was very strict and difficult to learn. Some said it would take 50 years to master. Others said 20 years. Others said at least ten years. And, for them it was so. That was what they were taught.
For me, almost from the beginning of my study of
Qigong, I got a message from my sixth sense that Qigong should not be so difficult. The more I studied and practiced and advanced in Qigong the stronger this message became. Eventually, it became very clear to me that the essence of Qigong is very simple. Beautiful, powerful and yet very simple.
This is what led me to create Spring Forest Qigong. I wanted to teach Qigong so that anyone and everyone can learn it and experience the wonderful benefits for themselves.
There are thousands of different Qigong techniques in the world. They are wonderful techniques. They share the same purpose - help to awaken the healing power within each human being. But they differ in how fast and easily we can achieve the goal and how completely we can unblock the blockages in the body. Sometimes the difference is huge.
