Double Nine Yang Exercise

This exercise is often practised on the basis of Sinew—transforming Exercise. The practitioner shakes his body in a spring vibration (like a pile being struck down) in a certain posture and with proper breathing and mind concentration to make qi in Dantian rippling and get it to circulate throughout the body. The exercise is to build up the physique and to activate the vitality of qi. It is the foundamental skill for outgoing-qi therapy with vibrating, quivering and fixing manipulations and other qi guiding and emitting methods.
