Focusing to activate specific energy centers

Next let the energy from the Earth travel up the legs and into the lower dan tien located beneath the navel. This is our center of inner strength and power. Imagine that you are inhaling pure, healing energy into your dan tien, letting it fill your entire lower abdomen. Exhale, purging any unclean energy from this center. Do this for 8 to 36 breaths. 7. Finally, simply stand and follow your breath. Allow yourself to feel the energy flowing in and around your body. Do this until you feel finished.

Endocrine Glands and Taoist Energy Centers

In the Taoist Esoteric System the energy centers do not belong to the physical body at all but are regarded as adjuncts of the vital body , which are set apart and crystallized to the necessary density in order that it may perform certain special manifestations of this vital body. Each gland has a specific work to perform. When in good health they all work together in perfect harmony. The endocrine glands are of special interest to the students of Taoism in relation to the circulation of the Microcosmic Orbit. In order to explain some of the energy centers in terms of modern anatomy, one has to look to the endocrine glands for correlation. The correlations may or may not be right, but that is the best that one can hypothesize at this stage of the art.

Taiji I The Universal Life Force

Developing Taijijin Taiji Forces

Just as in human cell division, this process is a symbol of the divisive union in nature. The opposing movement within an individual component is Taiji, the oneness of the universe. Laozi indicated, Fan Zhe Dao Zhi Dong BC tM. M The opposite way is the motivation of the Dao. The number one is a symbol of the universal life force. It is Taiji, the inner force of the existence of the universe.

Self Healing and Wholeness

Chi Healing

Tan Tien Chi Kung, as one of the basic practices of the Taoist approach to health and self-healing, has its roots in a particular world view at the very heart and root of Chinese civilizations and science. In this view, human beings, like all other creatures, are seen as part of nature. The Tan Tien is the center of activation and balancing of the primal life force energies (Chi) of the body by which the practices (Kung) of Chi Kung are generated. Tan Tien Chi Kung may also be called a strategy for self-empowerment and self-healing. Tan Tien Chi Kung, like other forms of Chi Kung, is not only a source of self-healing but may also serve as a source of healing others. However, its effectiveness depends on the energy of the healer. To practice healing others by way of Chi Kung, the healer needs first to raise their own energy, so that they can share their abundance. A high energy field is created which may then serve to activate enrgy fields of those who seek to be healed. If the person...

Long Distance Healing

I was born and raised on a farm near Clements, MN. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in alternative healing and the spiritual side of life. Friends from Minneapolis told us about this Chinese man at Anoka-Ramsey College who did some sort of Chinese healing. My husband, Joseph, and I contacted the college and attended an informational evening introducing Master Lin and Qigong. We were intrigued and decided to sign up for Qigong classes. We were getting ready to move to Texas and wanted to complete Level 1 & Level 2 before the move. The classes were most interesting. As I listened to what Master Lin had to say there was logic and reason in the concept of Qigong. Why shouldn't we be able as creatures of God to use universal energy to heal others and ourselves Why not acknowledge and utilize the energy within It made logical, reasonable sense to me. What Master Lin teaches makes sense to me therefore, for me it is true. It was in Texas that I had my incident with the...

Introduction What is the Healing Energy of the

In the sixth century B.C., Lao-Tse began his classic essay, the Tao Te Ching, with this admonition The Tao which can be spoken of is not the Tao. Loosely translated, Tao means the way or the power . In early Chinese writings the Tao implied an understanding of life which stressed individual harmony with the forces of nature. The Taoist sages often became hermits that lived in the mountains and disdained offers of power from admiring emperors, saying they preferred the Ruler of Nature to the transitory Ruler of Society. In the same tradition, Awaken Healing Energy Through The Tao is rooted in the process of nature, our bodily nature. This healing energy works independent of any particular belief or current scientific concepts. It differs from the Taoist religions which grew up around the original philosophy. In a nutshell, it is a subtle but verifiable experience of life energy, of chi flowing through the body in a specific pattern. It was discovered by practical minded Chinese sages,...

What is Chi or Electro Magnetic Life Force

Chi, otherwise called the Warm Current, Kundalini Power or electromagnetic life force, is very difficult to describe because this energy, or life force, cannot be seen. However, we can feel the life force in the body. In the early days of Tao, chi was expressed as nothing in the top portion of the Chinese pictogram and as fire in the lower part, so that no fire might be conceived of as defining Chi. More contemporary Taoist sources classify many kinds of Chi. There is pre-nature Chi, the kind you breathe, as well as the Chi that is transmuted in our bodies and the kind that has been awakened from sperm or ovary called Ching-chi. Ching-Chi, the main energy source of our practice, is ultimately transformed into spiritual energy. We all have Chi from the time we are conceived. The Taoist teaches us that life force or Chi begins as the energy you derive from the food you eat and the air you breathe. In Taoist practice, you draw on many different sources of energy, which reside in...

Healing Myself My Children and Others

I wandered into my first Spring Forest Qigong class. My friend had just started a Level I class taught by Master Lin and invited me to join her. I didn't know anything about Qigong. I thought it was some sort of Chinese exercise program that would benefit me through physical exercise, maybe a little meditation thrown in. I had never done any energy work, can't say that I was even aware of energy work and had never meditated before. I learned to meditate. I read about anatomy and physiology. I learned to detect energy blockages in people's bodies. I researched Qigong. I began to respect my own body in a new way that caused me to choose more exercise, better nutrition, elimination of harmful substances, regular meditation and to make changes in my lifestyle that would reduce stress and increase the balance I need in my life. This story still unfolds, yet I am certain that I am where I should be. I am healthier and stronger than I have been in decades. I have grown spiritually. I feel...

Etheric Double Energy Body

An alternative v iew, o ne t hat has b een n eglected by m odern m edical s cience, is existence of the energy body that we all have. The existence of the energy body (sometimes called the etheric double, or vital body) and its intimate interaction with the physical body, are what gives meaning to and effectiveness of PRANIC healing and QIGONG, and any other type of pure energetic healing. Energetic Healing Practice tend to restore a ready flow of PRANA or QI, and the flow of QI, or vital energy, is the chief determining factor for the bio-electric conditions within a living form. Modern Kirlian photography has shown that disease appears first in the energy or vital body before it manifests itself in the physical body. There is an intimate connection between the two. Therefore, by treating the vital body, we can often make a cure in the physical body. And this is what Pranic Healing and QIGONG, as described in this book, are all about. In further text all those type of healing we will...

(Practitioner to Student) There are two ways of doing this type of healing session Another way is to focus on your own energy body and ask the student to do the same. Bring a channel or line down from your energy body into your physical body and do the same for the student. Once again, complete the routes together. 1. Be aware of the Tan Tien and connect to the universe. Let the student sit with his back to you. You are behind him. Be aware of your Sacrum area and feel the Chi wait for the Chi to rise up to the crown and to the universe. Spiral the Chi down to the student's and your own energy body and it will flow into the physical realm. 3. Be aware of the energy body above the Crown extend yourself up from above your crown and channel down the white light from the center of the universe and the violet light from the North Star. Using your 'mind-power' ask the inside of the bone structure to open, allowing the white and violet light to flow into the marrow. Focus on the energy body...

Distant Pranic Healing

THE MECHANISM behind distant healing is similar to that of the telephone. The healer and the patient are linked because their etheric bodies are parts of earth's etheric body. Distant pranic healing is similar to close-ranged pranic healing. The only difference is that in distant pranic healing, the psychic faculty of the healer has to be developed or sharpened further through regular practice for greater accuracy.

Linking Personal Stars Energy Bodies and the Universe

World Link is a way for intelligent life force to return to the source inwards and upwards. Become aware of the 'personal stars' above the crown and below the earth. We link with our own personal stars and then with the stars of each person in a group. This links the energy bodies of everyone in a group together. Start to spiral your energy and connect to other peoples' stars and energy bodies. Make a left spiraling pattern, progressing around the circle in a clockwise rotation. Link all of these stars together and form one large energy body. Each meditator will become an individual unit in an integrated communication link. A link between the earth and the universe.

Cosmic Healing Chi Kung in the Universal Tao System

Cosmic Healing Chi Kung is an important branch of the Universal Tao, an entire system of Taoist practices for cultivating the body, the Chi and the spirit. Your level of skill in Cosmic Healing Chi Kung will be based upon your mastery of the Universal Tao System as a whole. One of the most important parts of the Taoist practices is working with the energy moving within the body. Each organ has its own vital color and when abundant it will radiate out as an aura for healing and protection. These organ colors and their associated universal connections have great healing power. The power of the 'Six Healing Sounds' will help enhance the connection to the cosmic source. Each sound will foster different healing energy. The practices also help balance, refine and transform the negative energy back to positive energy. Your increasing level of skill in the Universal Tao system will reflect immediately in your Cosmic Healing Chi Kung practice. Furthermore, you will discover that you can...

Projecting Healing Energy through the Fingers

Projecting Energy Through Image

Emitting Chi from the fingers for healing is known in China as the One Finger Art. Because the various energy channels of the arms either end or begin at the fingertips, the fingers are very effective instruments for projecting healing energy. Your fingers can focus energy like a laser beam toward a concentrated area such as a specific acupuncture point. You can also emit energy from all the fingers at once creating a combined effect to target an area. Part IV of Cosmic Chi Kung will stimulate all of the arm channels and will give you an opportunity to activate all of the fingers for beaming energy.

General Healing Session

The General Healing session practices are to be done with every student regardless of their age or health condition. These are for cleaning and strengthening the cells. Cells must be clean and strong to heal. The General Healing practices listed steps A-K are the most important part you must always do in every session. You can do this with one person or with many people at the same time. The following is a detailed decription of each of these steps. Become familar with them and they will flow easily one into the other.

Healing Others with Highly Developed Qi

The importance of self-healing in healing others People in the West have a tendency to home in on the techniques and to gloss over the importance of the energy, the Qi, which is the essential element in the process. Healers are constantly giving their Qi to others during the healing process, and so they must constantly recharge their own Qi through Qigong practice. If you are attempting to heal others, and are not yourself healthy through practising the movements and meditation of Qigong, you will transmit negative rather than positive Qi -which must, of course, be avoided. If, for example, your patient had a back problem and after treatment finds their heart beating faster, you could well have passed a heart problem of your own on to the patient.

Cosmic Healing is Teaching

One of the best methods of protection for a practitioner is the Fusion practice (Refer to 'Fusion of the Five Elements I by Mantak Chia). Perhaps even better is for the practitioner not to perceive him herself as a healer, but as a person that comes to guide people in something they have to do themselves. When you say I am a healer , the sickness or bad energy, has already found a new home. When you check it out, first it will try to hide, and then it will try to attach itself to you. But if you don't interfere, the energy will go straight to the ground. So it is very important to clarify that you are not a healer, but a practitioner that can help, and that the student or sick person has to do most of the job. If you guide those present, this will greatly enhance your healing session. Sit or stand facing your student. Any time you want him or her to focus on a particular point of the body, ask them to touch it with their hands. For example, Now place your hands on your navel , while...

The Smiling Inner Heart of our Energy Body

Sexual Drowning

This mapped out network of energy meridians and spheres of psycho-spiritual essences hidden within our physical body is known to Tao adepts as the Energy Body. The Inner Smile is a way of awakening and harmonizing our Energy Body. As the smiling wave arises within it can be guided to effortlessly float loose our deep sexual, emotional, and mental patterns, which are basically frozen energy.

Four Sections of Cosmic Healing

The next step is to learn the four sections of the Cosmic Healing Chi Kung, the 'Empty Force' sequence. Each of the four sections of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung develops a different type of energy mastery. Each section begins and ends in the same way, yet has different movements in the middle. The first section of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung emphasizes connecting to the external Chi emanating from heaven and earth. This ability is very beneficial for self-healing and is essential for healing others. If you do not connect to some source of external energy when healing others, you will draw upon your own personal reservoirs. Our personal Chi is limited by nature, and can easily become depleted if we give it away too freely. In this first section, you will learn to sense the energies outside your body. You will then learn to draw and absorb these energies into your body and process them in order to use them for self-healing and healing others. The second section opens and strengthens four of the...

Meditators become satellite links and create a group energy body

The World Link meditations become an integrated communication link. They are linked to the earth and the universe. Spiral and connect each person's star together and group the energy into one energy body. This energy body becomes an integrated communication center for each person in the group. We can be connected, wherever we are. Each person can connect and become their own 'Center of the Universe'. Fig. 4.13 Form a Satellite Link and create a Group Energy Body.

Energy Blockages

If we want to get well, if we want to feel our best, we have to keep these energy channels open and the energy flowing smoothly and freely. So, when we have blockages, we need to open or remove these blockages to rebalance the Yin-Yang energy. Everything is energy. You are an energy being. Your mind, your body, your spirit are all energy. While the Qi energy flows through your body life continues. When the Qi stops flowing, this life ends. When the flow of Qi pauses, or is interrupted, you get sick. All sickness in your body, mind or spirit are caused by energy blockages. Remove the blockage and energy balance is restored. ly focusing on healing the root of the sickness and prevention. A perfect healing heals the body physically, mentally, and spiritually at the same time. As far as we know, most traditional healing techniques help the body physically. Qigong opens the door for holistic, perfect healing. This is needed more today than at any other time in the history of mankind.

Transfer the energy of Microcosmic, Thrusting and Belt Channel from the Physical Body into the Energy Body above. Once you have practiced to this level, you are ready to form the pearl into an energy body. 7. Bring your awareness to your feet. Feel the earth energy flow up through your feet, supplying this energy to your body. The pearl continues to expand with all the energy coming to it from outside the physical body. 8. Relax the senses, and form the energy body. Count the years of your age and with each year your energy body is growing. Form the energy body in the way you like. 9. Run the Microcosmic in the physical body. Open the crown, transfer the Microcosmic pathway into the energy body. 10. Form another pearl in the cauldron, and shoot the pearl into the energy body. Circulate the pearl through both Microcosmic Orbits. 11. Move the Thrusting Channels into the energy body. Fig. 33 Energy Body 12. Energetic Healing

ENERGETIC HEALING is based on the overall structure of the human body. The physical body is actually composed of two parts the visible physical body and the invisible energy b ody c alled t he b ioplasmic b ody. T he visible p hysical b ody is th at p art of th e human body that we see, touch, and are most acquainted with. The bioplasmic body is that invisible luminous energy body which interpenetrates the visible physical body and extends beyond it by four or five i nches (10-13 cm). Traditionally, clairvoyants call this energy body the etheric body or etheric double. Pranic healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes PRANA or KI or QI or vital energy to heal the whole physical body. It also involves the manipulation of KI and bioplasmic matter of die patient's body. It has also been invariably called psychic healing, magnetic healing, faith healing, KI healing, vital healing, and the laying on of hands. Prana or KI (QI) is that vital energy or life force which...

Repeated from pages and pages

This session can be used for any kind of ailment and carried out with any number of students. It is important to remember that if there is no energy in your Tan Tien, then there will be no energy to work with. When you are aware of your Chi, you can direct heavenly light straight into your energy body and then into the student's. 9. When you begin pushing, pulling and sweeping, you may feel resistance in the body. As you progress and the energy centers open, this feeling will diminish.

Which Indian Yogis have for centuries referred to as divine. Most of these smells and sounds have always been there, but have been overshadowed by our attention to other things. As you grow quieter, and become less distracted, these ever present sounds become evident with the exception of the nadis, the divine sounds, which alter characteristically as one progresses spiritually.

Review Major Points of Microcosmic Orbit

Next on the agenda is abdominal breathing. This is done to stimulate the internal organs. In this method, exhale your breath by contracting the abdomen, compressing and massaging the organs therein and acting as an adjunct to the function of the diaphragm as it rises to compress the chest cavity. When you inhale, the diaphragm descends and again there is a compression and massage of the abdominal organs. This helps bring the Chi (or life force energy) into the abdomen where it can be collected and utilized more effectively. 6. After you have practiced for two months or so you can concentrate directly on the navel. That is, you don't have to count your breath or do the deep abdominal breathing though you can do it, if you like. From the navel, the Chi should go to the ovary or sperm palace, the Hui-Yin, coccyx and up to the Ming men on the back. Remain here until the power pushes up to the adrenal gland. Always remember to follow the energy flow and not force It.

Seven Formulas of the Seven Books of the

The third special route is the Yang-Chiao-Ma, the Positive Leg Route. It starts at the outer aspects of the two ankles and rises up the outside of the legs along the outer thighs. From the thighs it goes up to the hips, a strong absorbing energy center, the outer sides of the back and winds over the left and right shoulder, which are strong absorbing energy centers, whence it ascends along the neck to the corners of the mouth and enters into the eye-sockets and then over the forehead and skull to terminate in the medullar region. Thus, all of the energy passageways of the body are linked together in a network of the two Channels, the six special routes, and the twenty-four regular routes corresponding to the organs on each side. These passage ways are the superhighways, highways, and roads, respectively, of energy flow across the body. This formula is called Siaow K'an Li in Chinese and involves a literal steaming of the sperm (Ching) into life force energy (Chi). One might otherwise...

Fourth Energy Center Chang Chiang Coccyx

Healing Energy

When you have concentrated for some time you may feel a sensation of warmth and pressure rise up into the coccyx through the many nerve endings and the eight holes, which in the esoteric system are called the holes of the soul. The first level, opening the Microcosmic Orbit, may be said to be the preparation of the way. The energy that passes here is the real sperm and ovary power and is the energy of the life force that is produced in the body and cells. The second level trains the chi to move along 34 additional routes and involves the cleaning of the organs. In the third level Fig. 5.1 Energy flows upward through the major points of the Back Channel. Fig. 5.1 Energy flows upward through the major points of the Back Channel. Thyroid Gland Gland of Energy

In the Taoist Approach, the energy center at the thyroid is considered to be one of the most important centers in the body because it controls the growth of the dense vehicle and mental development and it is very closely related to all of the other six energy centers under consideration. It is the great link between the brain and the organs of generation (reproductive organs). In the Taoist Esoteric System, the thyroid energy center is called Hsuan-Chi (the twelve story) and is used as an energy Center only to draw in power. It is not ordinarily included in alchemy because when it is open it is hard to protect. However, in the greater and the greatest enlightenment of the Kan & Li, we draw enormous stores of power from this energy center to alchemically mix with the power of other energy centers in order to produce an ever greater source of power.

Awaken the Chi Life Energy

Chi Energy Flow

But what is this chi , and where does it come from The chi is the primordial life force itself. It begins in human life with the piercing of an egg by a sperm cell. From this original fusion an enormously complex new human being develops. Chi is the continuous flow of energy linking the various tissues, organs and brain functions into a unified whole a person. Chi also links this person to his environment. The main channels of chi energy flow in the body were discovered by sages meditating upon the human fetus inside the womb. They observed the baby grows up around its mother's navel point, and that through the navel the fetus absorbs nutrients and expels waste. The fetus literally breathes through the umbilical cord from the mother into its own navel down to the perineum and up to the head and down from the tongue to the navel again. The navel point is thus said by Taoists to be the starting point for the flow of the Awaken Healing Energy Through The Tao is a method for an adult to...

Tse Healthy Livin Gong 2 Chinese

Micheal Tse Heathy Living Gong

She taught him not only most of the surviving forms from the 1,800-year-old Kunlun Dayan Wild Goose) system of Qigong, but also passed on the Qigong healing skills for which she was so famous. With this knowledge of Qigong, and his study of Chinese philosophy, history and martial arts, Tse created a series of Qigong exercises called Healthy Living Gong in 1996. This book covers the first part of these imaginative and highly effective Qigong healing tools.

Bone Breathing and Marrow Washing

Bone Breathing is one of the main practices of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung. This is a method of drawing external Chi through the skin into the bones to help replenish the bone marrow, thereby reactivating the production of white blood cells. Sending Chi into the bones will enhance functioning of the immune system. This process also helps to clean out fat in the bone marrow ( Washing the Marrow ), one of the main causes of osteoporosis (brittleness of the bones). Tension in the muscles close to the bones is decreased so Chi and blood can flow into the bones easily, enabling them to become stronger. The Bone Breathing process uses the mind and the eyes to absorb Chi into the bones. The better your Bone Breathing is the better your Cosmic Healing Chi Kung practice will be. Mind and eyes are also used immediately after the exercise to gather the energy at the navel. Once you have it, when you move your hand, the energy will follow easily. You will be able to absorb external Chi effortlessly,...

Begin the Orbit Open the Front Channel the Functional

Meridian Points Hui Yin

The functional channel (meridian) runs down the front of the body and is yin, female, or cold in quality the governor channel at the back is yang, male, or hot. When joined, these two form the Micro-cosmic Orbit which links with all the vital organs of the body. By completing this route, the yin and yang mix in harmony, enabling you to increase your energy flow, and send energy, hormones, and vitality throughout your body. In this way energy can be collected, transformed and absorbed where necessary. Awaken the Individual Healing Points Many people experience soreness or pain when they practice, a sign that they are becoming sensitive to their formerly numbed body parts in the same way that we feel pain when our leg starts to come back to life after falling asleep. However you experience the energy is fine. Do not ignore the messages and sensations your body sends if anything, listen more attentively and experience your body more fully. These messages are valuable signals that you are...

Prepare to Circulate the Chi Energy

Sit on the edge of a chair using your sittingbones to find that delicate place of balance which will help hold you erect. Men should allow the scrotum to hang freely in the air when the testes are freely suspended it is easier to draw in energy and awaken the sleeping giant within. The sitting position for women is the same except that if women sit in the nude or are scantily clad they should cover the genitalia to avoid energy loss. The back must be comfortably erect, the head bowed slightly forward, the feet firmly planted on the floor. The feet are the ground wire, and have ten channels of energy flow in each leg. In order to keep the energy flow fully in each leg, keep your legs in touch with the ground. Sitting on a chair is the most comfortable way to practice the chi flow to the whole body. The feet are the root of our body so keep the energy flow to them and the hands resting on the lap with the right palm on top, clasping the left palm. This will complete the hand circle,...

Cosmic Star and the Earth Star

Lower Dan Tien

At the moment of conception, the two forces yin and yang connect with such a force, then only fractions of a moment later, the two forces explode into nine different Energy Centers. Seven of them we find in the body and two of them outside the body, forming our personal stars. The two personal stars are in fact energy centers connecting the aural field of each individual with the universal forces and the earth forces. In a way one can see the aim of Taoist Inner Alchemy in bringing these nine forces together, merging them into one force and thus enabling the return to the original force, the Wu Chi.

Taoist Esoteric Yoga Course Offerings

Taoist Esoteric Warm Current Meditation as these practices are also known, awakens, circulates, directs and preserves the generative life force called chi through the major acupuncture meridians of the body. At progressive stages, dedicated practice of this ancient esoteric system eliminates stress and nervous tension, massages the internal organs, and restores health to damaged tissue. This practice is of particular use to practioners of polarity therapy, shiatsu, Kundalini yoga, Swedish massage and other healing arts in which the exchange and cirulation of life force energy ki, prana or Chi must be maintained while working with clients or students. The first two formulas are described below. The remaining 5 formulas will be described when offered.

Seminal and Ovarian Kung Fu

This ancient Taoist yoga practice sublimates and transforms sexual energy through its circulation in the Microcosmic Orbit. The conservation of this precious, biochemical force has been recognized by sages of various esoteric traditions as a major revitalizing factor in the physical health and spiritual development of both men and women. The turning back and circulation of this generative force from the sexual energy centers to the higher centers invigorates and rejuvenates all the body's vital functions. Real sexual fulfillment lies in preventing the indisscriminate loss of this vital current and in experiencing a deeper level of orgasm. These techniques can be used for personal transformation both physical and spiritual. Prerequisite Course No. 1 Opening the Microcos-mic Orbit (Course No. 7)

Taoist Yoga and the Kundalini

Although Hatha Yoga became known in America in the 1930's, it was not until the late 1960's and 70's that attention began to focus on the higher stages of yogic development in which a phenomenon occurs known as awakening of the kundalini . The kundalini is the sudden release of vast untapped reservoirs of creative energy that transports an ordinary human being into states of higher consciousness and bestows upon him or her unique creative powers. A person who has attained full command of this cosmic energy is said by the Hindus to have attained a state of samadhi . The Buddhists call it nirvana , while the Chinese refer to it as the Tao . In the west it might correspond with what Freud alluded to as an oceanic feeling , but among the prophets of the New Age it is known as superconsciousness . None, of course, agree as to the best path to achieve this awakening, but the parallel among them is distinct. In India, the kundalini is symbolized by a serpent awakening from a deep slumber and...

Small Heavenly Cycle Microcosmic Orbit

The life of a human being begins with the piercing of an egg by a sperm cell. From this original act of Kung Fu, an enormously complex human being develops, which is capable of real genius. The fetus develops around that point, which is called the navel. It is from this point that nutrients are absorbed and wastes expelled from the developing creature. Therefore, in the Warm Current Practice the navel is a point of overriding importance. While in the womb the human being doesn't breathe air (the lungs do not function at all). Energy and oxygen are passed to the fetus through the umbilical chord. When the energy flows into the fetus' body, it enters at that point at which the navel will later be after the umbilical cord is severed. Then it proceeds downwards to the bottom of the trunk flows all the way up the spine to the crown of the head and from there flows down the middle of the face continuing on to the navel, again to complete the circuit.

Mind Eyes Heart and Intention YI

The basic teachings are all in the Microcosmic Orbit, the Cosmic Inner Smile and the Six Healing Sounds. As long as you are alive and healthy, you are able to draw in energy from the universe and nature. The stronger the battery, the better it is able to store this energy. If you're weak and sick, you have no way to draw any energy from nature or the universe. When the cells stop drawing in energy, life ends. If you have perfected these practices, you have all the personal physical, mental and spiritual power that you need. Everything comes together. Your mind is aware of the original force. From the knowledge of Oneness, you are inwardly aware of your mind, senses and heart you are outwardly aware of the universal energy. Now you are capable of receiving the abundantly available healing power of the universe you can tune into everything, inwardly and outwardly in all directions. This is what we are here for to heal and become whole again. We have higher goals to reach. The foundation...

Eleventh Energy Center Hsuan Chi Throat

Solar Plexus Tan Tian

The Hsuan-Chi is the energy center of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Concentrating here will often cause coughing or difficulty in breathing. When the energy pushes up through the throat and enters the mouth some people have been known to cough up dark, sticky mucous. This is considered to be characteristic of the clearing of this energy center and this leads to a free flow of energy from the throat to the tongue. Most people feel more calm and less worried when this energy flows from the navel up to the throat and to the tongue and with no congestion in the chest. Seminal Kung Fu Taoist Secret of Energy

Every vital function is invigorated because one no longer discharges life energy through the genitals. Real sexual fulfillment lies not in feeling the life go out of you but in increasing awareness of the vital current that flows through the loins. The body is further replenished by a method of Steaming the vital energy up from the sexual centers to the brain and higher organs. The life enhancing process is completed by exchanging with one's partner energy released during moments of excitation. Let us say that people earn 100 units of life force through breathing, eating and resting but spend 125 units of life force through gluttony, overwork, anxiety, constitutional weakness, and frequent loss of the vital fluid. They must continuously borrow vitality from the brain and other vital organs. This theft of vital energy from one's own reserves induces mental and physical sickness and premature aging. We teach you how to overcome worldly sex desire and a way to earn 125 units and to spend...

Psychosomatic Diseases

If the disease is of emotional origin, the healer must not only give pranic healing but also psychological counseling. The patient should be asked to undergo a c ourse in character building and to meditate regularly to help overcome these negative emotional tendencies. If the influences are positive, then the effects are positive. If the influences are negative, then the effects are negative.

Do you have to Sit in a Chair

This is the most comfortable position for most and is especially good for those people who have back and leg problems. It also allows chi to flow freely through the legs. Many people believe that if you assume the lotus position you will feel more rooted and will gradually limber, or already have very open energy routes in your legs, sitting in the lotus or quarter lotus can only interfere with energy flow and hamper your progress.

General Functions of the Eight Extraordinary Channels

About two thousand years ago, one of the great texts of Chinese medicine, the Nan Ching was written. This classical text describes the twelve ordinary channels as rivers and the eight extraordinary channels as reservoirs of Chi. When the ordinary channels become low in energy, they can draw from the reservoirs of energy in the extraordinary channels. On the other hand, if the ordinary channels become too full, the excess can be taken up by the extraordinary channels. In this way the extraordinary channels help us to maintain a balance in our energy body.

Cosmic Chi Kung Simple Combined Sequence Opening Movements

Activate the cosmic force by using your mental intention (Yi) to spiral at the mideyebrow point and draw in the golden light energy. Breathe through the mideyebrow point in the same manner as in bone breathing, allowing the energy to flow through the Microcosmic Orbit. Alternatively you can breathe the golden light down into your navel to charge up your Original Chi at the Tan Tien. You can also simply circulate the golden light throughout your body. Relax, smile and enjoy the sensation of your entire body breathing in the cosmic energy. 3. Move the hands down to Liver 14 (about 2 - 3 inches below the nipple in the space between the 6th and 7th ribs). Beam healing energy into the liver and gall bladder. 4. Move the hands down to Spleen 16 (just below the rib cage on the mammillary line). Beam healing energy into the stomach, pancreas and spleen. 5. Move the hands down to Spleen 15 (on the mammillary line to the level of the navel). Beam healing energy from your palms into the small...

Eight Extraordinary Channels and Chi Kung

Therefore, Taoists focus on opening up the flow of energy through the eight extraordinary channels as a prerequisite for opening the energy flow in the twelve ordinary channels. In the Universal Tao system, you first open up the Governor Channel and the Functional Channel in the Microcosmic Orbit Meditation. The second pair the Thrusting Channels and the Belt Channels are opened in the Fusion of the Five Elements II Meditation. The last four channels, the Yin and Yang Bridge Channels and the Yin and Yang Regulator Channels are opened in the third level of Fusion of the Five Elements Meditation. After opening all eight channels, in the next level of Taoist inner alchemical meditation called the Lesser Enlightenment of Kan and Li, the twelve ordinary channels are then opened.

Chi Energy Ball

Once you have practiced Cosmic Chi Kung for awhile and have become skillful at it, you may find that Grasping the Chi ball is all you need to do to activate your flow of healing energy before doing a session. As you become sensitive to the sensation of your own Chi, it becomes an easy step to feel the Chi of others.

Eyestrain Or Tired Eyes

Pranic Healing For Eye Sight Problem

Energize intensely the navel chakra until the patient recovers consciousness. This increases the pranic energy level of the whole body including the head area. This approach is slower but safer. Clean the whole body thoroughly by applying general sweeping four or five times. Clean and energize the hand chakras, and the sole chakras at the feet. This is to partially activate and energize the hand and sole chakras thereby increasing their capacity to absorb ground and air prana. This will gradually and steadily energize the whole body, providing sufficient prana or vital energy to fight the infection. Clean and energize the front solar plexus chakra and the navel. This is very important and is a critical factor in rapidly bringing down the fever.

Charge with Violet Light

Charging with Violet light holds the highest healing energy. When the cells are clean they will absorb and hold the Violet light and the healing will take place. Luminous Violet has intelligence and can be programmed. The universe is full of violet light, especially the North Star and the Big Dipper. The color of the star of the higher self or soul, above the crown, is also violet. It is the color of Divine or Soul energy.

Activating the Chi Belt Dai Mo

Qugong Cosmic Energy

In Taoist Chi Kung, the Belt Channel is not limited to the waist region. It encircles the entire body, almost like weaving an energetic cocoon around you from head to foot. Activating the Belt Channel strengthens the aura and helps to defend and protect you from outside negative energies.

Cracking In Forehead When Clearing Third

Energy Coming For Third Eye

Now, move your hands to the left and right directions. Pull the Universal energy in. Push touch the universe. Pull think about your Tan Tien. Push - all the way, touching-touching-touching the universe. Beware of the Tan Tien and spiral it like universal energy in motion. Feel the heart center spiraling and the crown spiraling. Be aware of the universe spiraling above, below, front, back, left and right. Let all of the sick energy and the negative forces leave the body and go down into the ground for Mother Earth to recycle. Extend the Chi from above, all the way down through the earth and the universe below. When finished opening to the Six Directions and igniting the Three Fires, gather the Chi in the center and bring this expanded awareness into the healing session.

Cleansing the Spinal Cord

Always cleanse the spinal cord, which protects the entire body from diseased and negative energy, both physical and psychic. When you open the spinal cord and solar plexus you can release many energy blockages. Sweep the hand in a clockwise motion to energize the spine with either or a combination of blue, green, white and ultra-violet. Then spiral counterclockwise and brush the spine down to the ground. Continue sweeping until you feel that the spinal cord has cooled down. Remember not to use orange orSpineY red.

Bioplasmic Waste Disposal Unit

The Hawaiian shamans (healers) or kahunas call the bioplasmic thread invisible a ka thread. In esoteric parlance, this is called etheric thread. Unless the diseased bioplasmic matter is properly disposed, there is the possibility that it may go back to the patient. Some healers use water, sand, water with tobacco, meat and other organic matters as bioplasmic waste disposal units. Some American Indian shamans use twigs. The twigs are placed in the mouth of the shaman and the diseased bioplasmic matter is sucked out or extracted by the use of the mouth. The twigs are used to catch the diseased bioplasmic matter. The diseased bioplasmic matter is clairvoyantly and symbolically seen by some clairvoyants as spiders or insects or other repulsive forms.

General Cleansing And Energizing

The synthetic QI varies in size and in density. Ordinary persons have very little synthetic QI compared to spiritual aspirants and practitioners of QIGONG. It would be advisable for you to learn to meditate on the white light and practice it every day. It makes your bioplasmic body cleaner, brighter, and denser, thereby making you a better healer.

Hand And Finger Chakras

Hand Finger Shakra

There are two very important chakras located at the center of each palm. These chakras are called t he le ft h and c hakra an d rig ht h and c hakra. T hey are u sually ab out o ne in ch in diameter. Some pranic healers have hand chakras as big as 5 centimeters or more in diameter. Although the hand chakras are considered as minor chakras, they have very important functions in pranic healing. It is through the hand chakras that prana is absorbed from the surroundings and projected to the patient. Both the right and left hand chakras are capable o f ab sorbing a nd p rojecting prana or k i, (QI). B ut for right-handed persons, i t is easier to absorb through the left hand chakra and project through the right hand chakra and vice versa for left-handed people. True Breath Skin Breathing

The Taoists discovered that we can learn to absorb these surrounding and universal energies through the skin and the major energy centers. Absorbing energy through the skin is called the True Breath. This powerful energetic technique requires the Inner Smile and relaxation. The more one can relax, the more the body and the skin can open to the energy around us. The practice allows one to extend the mind, to touch the force and to draw that energy back into the body.

Outline of Practice

How Charge Your Chi

You can clean the organs by 'pushing and pulling'. Picture the organ and push feel your hands are very 'long', extending through the organs and reaching out to the universe. Project all the sick energy down into the earth and out to the universe. Use your intent to guide it into the earth and out to the other planets in the solar system, where it will be processed and recycled. Pull the universal energy back towards yourself push and disperse all the negative energy out to universe. Pull when you pull the Chi back past the student, stop in between the two of you. Push, pull, push and pull, until you feel the energy or power. Ask Give me the power to see . Feel your Chi entering into the organs with ease. It is essential that you feel and talk to any sick energy. If the student is healthy then you will feel their 'light'. Ask their energy body to tell you where it may need some healing. Send in 'light radar'. Transmit green light and flush down to...

Personal Experiences with the Microcosmic

During three workshops, four participants successfully completed the Microcosmic Orbit and many others indicated the potential to do so in the near future. One physician had practiced T.M. for about ten years and had already begun to experience heat and light in his head during his T.M. meditations. By learning how the energy flows and placing his tongue to his palate during this training period in La Crosse, he completed the orbit. By concentrating on his navel he experienced the light flowing in his Microcosmic Orbit. Master Chia It has to do with Yin and Yang. The right hand is Yang and the energy flows from Yang, right hand, to the left hand which is Yin. You get more energy that way. Student From doing the microcosmic orbit and the Six Healing Sounds I have a distinct sense of vitality, both physically and mentally. I find it an extremely valuable and valid approach. My first experience with meditation was in yoga and then, about 8 years ago, I learned Tai Chi and different types...

An Interview with

Dan is a young photographer who, for eight years, had been putting much effort into practicing esoterics on his own, and had tried many other methods with many different masters. After studying with Master Chia for only two months, through simply concentrating on his navel, the Chi energy started to circulate in the Microcosmic Orbit automatically without concentrating on the other energy centers. Dan I found out about Master Chia through the Free Spirit', a magazine I picked up in a health food store. I called him up and he mailed me one of the booklets, which explains everything about the Microcosmic Orbit. After reading and practicing with forty to fifty teachers, his system sounded very good to me but I couldn't be sure and so I went to see him. After he explained the way the energy works, it seemed pretty logical to me, so I tried it out. He told me to concentrate on a point about 1.5 inches inside my navel, to feel warm not to concentrate on anything else, to forget about...

Why We Practice the Cosmic Chi Kung

The Cosmic Chi Kung is also known as Buddha Palm. The reason we train with the Empty Force practice in connection with the Cosmic Healing is to learn how to project Chi through the space in the cosmos, the space between your hands and to project Chi through the space to your students. Usually when we touch the student we pick up sick energy. This practice will teach you how to ground the sick energy to the earth and to disperse it into the Universe to be decomposed and recycled by the planets.

Critical Factors In Healing

Stabilize the projected prana to prevent it from escaping or leaking out. Many new healers become overconfident and commit the serious mistake of not stabilizing the projected prana when their patients tell them how their c ondition h as greatly im proved. A s a r esult, s ome patients experience recurrence of symptoms or ailments after about thirty minutes or after a few hours. Therefore, always stabilize the projected prana after energizing 5. Instruct your patients not to wash the parts that have just been treated for ab out twelve h ours ot herwise, t he s ymptoms m ay r ecur. Water absorbs some of the pranic energy that has been projected to the affected part. Patients suffering from severe ailments or general weakness are requested to refrain from taking a bath for about twenty-four hours after treatment. This enables the body to gradually absorb a nd assimilate the pranic energy that has been projected. Materials such as silk, rubber and leather tend to act as partial...

Tai Chi Chi Kung Foundation of Tai Chi Chuan

Without the circulation of chi through the channels, muscles and tendons of the body the Tai Chi Chuan movements are only physical exercises. The practice of Tai Chi Chi Kung awakens and circulates Chi energy and is therefore the foundation for the mastery of Tai Chi Chuan. The potential to develop our self-healing capabilities begins with the discovery of the flow of this vital energy through the Microcosmmic Orbit. This circulation is enhanced and sustained through the practice of Tai Chi Chi Kung which assists in improving health through correct posture, movements and calming of the mind. This particular form is comprised of 13 movements. Prerequisite Course No. 1 Opening the Microcosmic Orbit. Course No. 6)

Meridians Or Bioplasmic Channels

Chakras, or w hirling en ergy centers, are very i mportant parts of the bioplasmic body. Just as th e visible p hysical body h as vital and m inor organs, the bi oplasmic body ha s major, minor, and mini chakras. Major chakras are whirling energy centers which are 710 cm in d iameter. They control and energize the major and vital organs of the visible physical body. Major chakras are just like power stations that supply vital energy to major and vital organs. When the power stations malfunction, the vital organs become sick or diseased because they do not have enough vital energy to operate properly Minor chakras are Activation of certain chakras (energy centers) may result in the development of certain psychic faculties. For example, one of the easiest and safest chakras to activate are the hand chakras. These are located at the center of the palms. By activating t he hand c hakras, one d evelops the ab ility to f eel s ubtle e nergies and the ability to feel the o uter, h ealth, and...

Activate the Six Directions

Activating the six directions is for opening the whole body, mind and soul to all of the Universal and Cosmic forces in all directions. We literally learn to draw in the Universal and Cosmic forces from all directions at the same time. This is important for healers so they are not using their own energy for healing but drawing on the limitless Universal forces.

Problems Encountered In Selfhealing

Many healers find it difficult to heal themselves. The healer may be good at projecting prana but may have little practice in self-healing. The healer is either too tired or weak or doesn't care enough, or the healer simply prefers to rest and be healed by another healer. Sometimes the ail ment requires treatment u sing o ther s upplementary or m ore a ppropriate forms of healing combined with pranic healing. On rare occasions, healing oneself of a serious ailment is not possible due to karmic factors or negative karma. Some serious ailments are due to negative deeds, thoughts, and feelings in the present and past lives of patients. This is called negative karma. B ut not al l serious ailme nts are due to negative karma. No pranic healer should ever turn away a patient just because he or she thinks the ailment may be d ue to negative karma Very few clairvoyants can actually see with great accuracy into the past karma of a patient. Even if it is negative karma, you are not in a...

Mind Organs and Sexual Organs

The Tao discovered that the sexual organs are the only organs that can generate a significant amount of sexual energy (life force). However, the sexual organs cannot store the energy efficiently. When too much energy is generated, considerable amounts have to be dumped out. And this is the best energy that one has. It is the 'creative' energy.

Transform the Sexual Energy

Tan Tien Massage

Once you feel the Tan Tien is warm enough, smile down and bring the warm Chi down to the sexual organs women bring the Chi down to the uterus, men bring the Chi down to the testicles. It may feel like the 'sun shining on the water'. The rays of the sun purify the water until it becomes rising steam. Keep smiling down to the sexual organs and feel the warm or fiery feeling from the navel area continue to flow down to the sexual organs this transforms the sexual energy into Chi, and this Chi rises up the spine into the brain helping to activate the 'crown' and 'mideyebrow' energy centers.

Cleansing the Internal Organs Technique Healing Some Common Illnesses

It is important to remember that if there is no energy in your Tan Tien, then there will be no energy to work with. 'Connecting the Tan Tien and the Universe' means connect your center to the infinite source of the universe, the Tao. When you make the connection you access this power. Always hold on to your center it is the only thing that is truly yours. Keep the fire warm and spiraling. When you are aware of your Chi, you can direct heavenly light straight into your energy body and then into the student's.

Energizing and Activating the Immune System

Feel the Chi rising up to the universe, multiply it and guide it down to your energy body. 2. Be aware of the Tan Tien and the universe. Attract the yellow light spiral and condense the healing light into the tips of your fingers move the fingers up to touch the sacrum. Send out a beam of yellow Chi into the sacrum, directing it up the spine. This will stimulate the production of red blood cells. Transfer the feeling of 'Bone-Chi' up to universe and down to your energy body.

Activate the Immune and Defense System

The body has various mechanisms which combine to provide protection and defense against illness and disease. These mechanisms enable the body to produce various cells and bodies which act against invading or unwanted substances. As soon as a foreign body is recognized, the immune system will be triggered and will act to provide the most efficient means of eliminating the danger and return the body to a balanced state of health. A strong and healthy body will have good resources to protect itself from negative or sick energy. The aim of these practices is to help you to realize the potential of true harmony within yourself. To activate the immune and defense system is to increase the production of red and white blood cells. To do this we activate the bone marrow and lymphatic system. Guide the student or whole group together in all of these steps. You will not lose energy by doing this. You will gain more energy because you are all connected together in the group power. The crucial...

Set a Training Schedule

Lower energy centers first to insure a solid foundation for spiritual growth and self-healing. There are spiritual geniuses on earth who can quickly transcend and stabilize themselves in higher energy centers. But most people cannot safely absorb this higher energy without first purifying the body and its lower energy centers. This may be a long and arduous process for some. The microcosmic orbit circulation is a safe and systematic approach to quickly achieve this transformation within the body. But only practice makes perfect, the greater your self-discipline the faster you will be rewarded with a marked increase in energy available to you.

Cleansing And Energizing

Pranic Energy

IN P RANIC H EALING, there are two basic principles cleansing and energizing the patient's bioplasmic body w ith prana or v ital e nergy. It is by cleansing or re moving t he d iseased bioplasmic matter from the affected chakra and the diseased organ, and by energizing them with sufficient prana or vital energy, that healing is accomplished. These two basic principles are the very foundation of pranic healing. 4) Cleansing is necessary to reduce the risk of damaging the finer bioplasmic channels (called meridians or energy centers).

Regulation of Mental Activities

Regulation of mental activities is also known as will control or thinking method. The training of the will is the most important link in Qigong exercise. The Three Gists of Regime (Sheng San Yao) says, Preservation of the essence of life rests with cultivation of vital energy, which in turn rests with mental faculties. Mental faculty to vital energy is as mother is to child. Thus, concentration of the mind would have vital energy consolidated while distraction of the mind would have it dispersed. One who only tries to save essence of life but neglects mental faculty knows the how but does not know the why. This passage stresses the relationship between essence of life, vital energy, and mental faculty and points out the primary function of mental activities in Qigong practice.

Preparatory Practices

In the Universal Tao, we teach Cosmic Healing Chi Kung within an entire system of exercise and meditation. As a part of this system, Cosmic Healing Chi Kung comprises the art of healing oneself and others. It focuses on energy work for projecting Chi to effect these healings. One can easily learn the simple movements of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung without doing any other Universal Tao practices, but if one truly wishes to master the art of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung, it is important to have a firm foundation in the basic Universal Tao practices. Therefore in this chapter we will introduce you to the basic Universal Tao practices that are used in conjunction with Cosmic Chi Kung. Always start with warming the stove at the abdomen and direct the fire down to the sexual center to transform the sexual energy. Next practice the Cosmic Inner Smile. The Cosmic Inner Smile is a powerful relaxation and self-healing technique that uses the energy of love, happiness, kindness and gentleness as a...

Proper Practice will prevent Side Effects

In awakening the life force energy of Taoist Esoteric practice each person is required in the first stage to open the Microcosmic Orbit. The Governor Channel corresponds to the route that is followed by awakened sperm energy rising from the coccyx to the crown of the head. The Tao System differs from the Indian in that a return route is provided for from the palate to the tongue to the throat, to the navel and back to the coccyx to begin a new circuit. In this way, power is evenly distributed throughout the seven glands. There is far less pain in the head than one would have in Kundalini practice because a safety valve is afforded as a provision for distributing the pressure. routes in the whole body must be opened. When they have all been opened, the life force energy chi can freely flow through the organism, eliminating the side effects which might otherwise be caused by the over-stimulation of one gland or another. For example, if the adrenals are overstimulated you cannot sleep,...

History and origin of Qigong

The qi part (or ch'i) of Qigong means air or inner vital energy. Translated into western medical terms it means resistance to disease, adaptability to the external environment and the ability to overcome internal troubles and regain health. In Chinese medicine for thousands of years great importance has been placed upon exercises that strengthen the vital energy. Qigong was widely spread from the Han Dynasty (206 BC AD 220) to the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 907). It was used widely in medical treatments one famous doctor called Caho Yuanfang of the Sui Dynasty (AD 581 618) said that when someone had mastered Qigong, they were able to release through their palms a sort of vital energy, which could heal others.

Forget about your Palms

An extremely important theory of Cosmic Healing Hand Techniques is to 'forget about your palm'. This means that you should only use the palm (which is incredibly sensitive), for 'guiding' the universal energy into the right spot, sending out a minute beam of light, like a laser, that marks the place where the energy should be sent. Your palm is connected to your brain, which has been sunk into your Tan Tien. The light marker will serve as a beacon for the force that is directed down by your mind. Draw down the Universal Chi, guide it to the right spot and give the command Stay . This is very important, otherwise the Chi will disappear once you move your hand. When you practice Cosmic Healing it makes no difference how many people you treat, because you are not transferring your own energy.

Playing the fool to regain harmony

Shape Tracing Worksheets

CHINESE CONSIDER that everything in the universe has a special kind of energy. In the last chapter we talked about Yin and Yang, which is the energy of opposites. There is also a special kind of universal energy which can be classified into five different types of energies called 'elements'. These Five Elements are water, fire, wood, earth and metal. In fact, along with the Yin Yang theory, the theory of the Five Elements is the basis of all Chinese culture, including Feng Shui, astrology, traditional medicine, Qigong and even diet.

Opening to Heaven Earth and Nature

Thus, your mind and body learn to gather, absorb, direct and transform the heaven, earth and cosmic energy for your own use. This is the essence of Chi Kung. Today there is a lot of emphasis on learning movements and forms of Chi Kung. However, if the inner feeling is not there, the movements are of little value.

Distant Cleansing And Energizing

Into the body of the healer before projecting it to the patient. In Method 2, prana is drawn from the surroundings and projected directly to the patient without passing through the body of the healer. You can a lso c ombine Me thod 1 a nd Method 2.After you have become proficient you can try healing familiar patients at a distance. Then you can gradually try new patients.

Chi Sacred Water Practice

Invoke the power of the Sacred, Chi or Holy Water practice to cleanse and heal the body's sick, toxic or negative energy. Make a request to receive healing energy and feel yourself touch a heavenly pool of sacred water energy. Feel the pool pouring down heavenly water to fill your arm. Use the thumb and index finger to remove the sick energy from the cup, without touching the water. Talk to the sick cells. Let the sick energy return to the earth for recycling. Fill the water with your heart's compassion. Give the command This Sacred Water will give health, wealth and longevity . Cosmic Healing works on a cellular level. It is the water's 'job' to carry the message of the practice to all the cells, where it will remain. Drink the water in unison with the rest of the group.

Does Master Chia Pass Energy to his Students to help open the Routes

When someone first comes to me, I may give them energy. Upon being touched some people experience the warm current in a few minutes. The body may feel as though affected by an electric shock and start to vibrate and go into deep concentration. By merely describing the route of the energy flow to them and without my touching them, they go into deep concentration, feel energy running through their body and have an irregular and sometimes rapid and shallow breathing pattern. Someone came to me just one time and completed the route, experiencing great inner beauty, peace, and a deep knowledge of his innermost self. That happens, too.

Concepts and Characteristics

Qigong emphasizes the cultivation of health through the removal of all blockages in the mind and body. As ohserved by the ancient Chinese, running water never turns stale and a door hinge never gets worm-eaten. Daoying An Qiao, an exercise found in The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine (Huang Di Nei Jing), consists mainly of self-massage and self-controlled movements of the extremities to build up the constitution, to guide Qi and blood circulation and to control diseases. Like all Qigong, this exercise is to a great extent superior to the passive methods of massage, acupuncture, drug medication and other therapies in its ability to mobilize the vital energy to prevent and cure diseases. Other advantages of Qigong are its simplicity and feasibility. It can be learned, with rapid and satisfactory results by reading books with illustrations.

General Principles

Like all Chinese medicine, Cosmic Healing works on the system as a whole, balancing the entire organism, treating the cause to cure the symptoms. You can practice group healings and then link your students' personal stars together, at an agreed time later in the day. You can then perform the World Link Cosmic Healing.

Ways of meditating

Lotus meditation is another method and it concentrates on bringing up the spiritual energy and circulating the Qi to benefit internal organs. Some people can sit for a long time in the lotus position if they have practised for a while. Some can even sit for several hours or even a day. However, for most people, this posture is unusual and is not so comfortable at first.

Deviation of Qigong

In accordance with Corresponding Channel Point Selection Theory, select the points in and around the location where stagnation and blood stasis exist. Digitally tap and knead the points and push and stroke along the channel. Use the Flat Palm hand gesture and the manipulative procedures of pushing, pulling and quivering to emit Qi so that channel movement is induced. Outgoing Qi is applied along the channel route to guide and normalize the functional activities of Qi and to dredge the channels. 2. Treatment with Outgoing Qi. Press and knead the following points Shenshu (U.B. 23), Mingmen (Du 4), the Dantian and Guanyuan (Ren 4). Using the Flat Palm hand gesture along

In the Taoist Esoteric system we regard the spleen as the entrance for solar force, which vitalizes the dense body. Without this vital elixir no being can live. From the spleen this sun force is sent to the solar plexus and from the solar plexus this fluid-like energy flows along the filaments composing the nervous system. In this way it permeates every part of the physical body. energizing each and every cell with its life force.

Six Healing Sounds

Everyone has heard stories about gifted beings who possess great healing powers. People seek out gifted healers. Yet even in the best of circumstances, how much time can a great healer spend with you One hour a day An hour a week What about the rest of the time Thus you must learn how to take care of yourself you must learn how to clear out your negative energy and transform it into positive healthy energy. If you maintain yourself in this way it will surely enhance any other therapy you are receiving. The Six Healing Sounds are a simple yet powerful tool to promote physical, energetic and emotional healing and balance. If you are healing others, you can teach your students one or two of the Six Healing sounds each session, to enhance the effects of your therapeutic work. During the practice of the sound the resting period is very important. Growing the good virtue of the organs is essential so the negative or sick energy has less room to grow.

General Information

Although it is important to learn all of the applications, it is more important to begin practice, maintaining a serene state of mind throughout. You will immediately realize that Cosmic Healing provides the practitioner with as much benefit as the student. The more you practice the more you heal.

Microcosmic Orbit

The Microcosmic Orbit is the foundation of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung practice. Each new practice is dependent upon the high quality of your meditations and your ability to perfect the Microcosmic Orbit. In order to master Cosmic Chi Kung, one must practice meditation daily. The meditations in the Microcosmic Orbit also strengthen the 'Original Chi' and teach you the basics of circulating Chi. They allow the palms, the soles of the feet, the mideyebrow point and the crown to open. These specific locations are the major points where energy can be absorbed, condensed and transformed into fresh new life force.

Purple Energy Gates

In contrast to purple chi, the chi which is bright purple in color has a much greater potency because it can help in the restoration of nerves and organs which have been affected either by disease or trauma. This bright purple chi can be used to remove infection and to promote fast healing, even in the case of serious illness. In addition, this chi has been said to possess its own consciousness (Master Choa Kok Sui. Advanced pranic healing 49)

Mantak Chia

When Mantak Chia was in his early twenties he studied with Master Meugi in Singapore, who taught him Kundalini, Taoist Yoga and the Buddha Palm. He was soon able to clear blockages to the flow of energy within his own body. He learned to pass the life force energy through his hands also, so that he could heal Master Meugi's patients. Qi or PRANA is the universal energy that makes up and flows through everything in the universe. Our body, has two kinds of Qi internal Qi and external Qi. When Qi stops, that is the end of life. Qigong is one of the most powerful ways to move the Qi. Qigong can help you to heal not only physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually and all at the same time. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. But, energy can be transformed, changed, manipulated, put to use.

Along with this, there is the long-standing Taoist practice of cultivating and training consciousness in the Three Tan Tiens, especially the Lower Tan Tien. There is my own experience in participating in brain wave measurements and 'brain energy potential' research in recent years. The combination of all these areas of knowledge and experience in our time, makes Cosmic Healing practices accessible for our minds while also being very 'down to earth.' Now let's talk about the Lower Tan Tien. After that, I was invited to start testing in Europe by the Institute for Applied Biocybernetics and Feedback Research. My name is becoming known there because I teach in Europe a lot. One of the biggest institutes for training top athletes in Europe is in Vienna. They developed an instrument that can measure the brain's potential energy, which represents all the energy in the body. The doctors also said that this proves to the west that Chi exists, there is energy and a life force running in the...

Invoke the power of the Sacred Water practice to cleanse and heal the body's sick, toxic or negative energy. If you are working with a group of people, direct your energy through the energy body overhead and into each person's star, as you guide them through the procedure. III. Make a request to receive healing energy and feel yourself touch a heavenly pool of sacred water energy. Feel the pool pouring down heavenly water to fill your arm. As you make your request to the Universe, feel that you are touching a heavenly pool of Sacred Water Energy. Feel that the pool is pouring down like a waterfall to fill the arm. When it is full compact, compress the Sacred Energy into it as much as you can.

Drawing In Prana

Sketch Pranayama

In the Reaching for the Sky Pose, if you intend to d raw in pranic energy through the lef t hand c hakra, r aise y our lef t ar m an d tu rn t he p alm upward (see photo on the right). Raise the arm. There is a m eridian or bioplasmic channel in the armpit area which is connected to the left and right ha nd chakras. The un bending of th is meridian allows p rana to flow with minimum resistance. The act of concentrating on the left hand chakra is like turning on the water pump. By concentrating on the left hand, the left hand chakra is activated and draws in a lot of prana since there was an intention or expectation to draw in rather than to project prana. In the Casual Pose, if you intend to draw in pranic energy through your left hand chakra, let your left arm h ang loos ely a nd c asually. The a rm is m oved slightly aw ay f rom t he b ody t o allow a s mall op ening i n the armpit area. The palm is in casual position and is not raised upward. ( see photo on the right). The c asual...

Taoist yoga

From Taoism we have received the great internal arts such as T'ai chi ch'uan, pa-kua chang, Taoist yoga and Qigong. These were all based upon 'doing by not doing'. This concept can be explained by comparing Indian and Chinese yoga. If both arts were practised side by side we would see that the India yogi (in most cases) would be performing more movement than the Chinese yogi. In actual fact the Chinese yogi would be doing more work than the Indian would by 'not doing'. The Chinese yogi would hold very difficult stances for long periods of time with little or no movement. These isometric postures were said to be able to send the energy around the body and open up all of the channels of ch'i or life-force when performed in conjunction with certain breathing techniques.
