Immune System Function Ebook
Activating the immune system always involves the bone structure, especially the round bones in the arms and legs and the flat bones in the skull, jaw, rib cage, hips and spine. All of these are involved with the production of white blood cells. The thymus gland and the spleen are of special importance to the immune system, because they are involved with programming and training the white blood cells (called T-Cells) to do the right job. The lymphatic system is involved in removing toxic waste from the body it is therefore beneficial to stimulate the lymph flow as well. This is best done in combination with Chi Nei Tsang. For details refer to the Chi Nei Tsang Books.
The Immune system starts with the top part of the Sternum. Touch the top part of the sternum. Project your fingers 'very long' into the bone and feel them penetrate right into the Thymus. Activate the thymus gland. Gradually, feel the fingers rising up to the thyroid and parathyroid. Activate the Thyroid and Parathyroid and Throat Center. Give the command Clear, clean and bright fill with violet light and return to normal function . 6. Place your palms over your Navel and activate the Lymph Nodes. Give the command to the lymph nodes there. Give the command Clear, clean and bright fill with violet light and return to normal function . You have now activated the immune system.

Zhu, a young man of 17 years old, suffered from pain and functional disorder of the left arm. Gradually he lost motor ability to the extent that he had to be looked after by others. He was diagnosed as having osteolytic osteosarcoma. He underwent immunotherapy supported by diet therapy, as well as Qigong therapy. Six months later, the patient was found normal and returned to school. The 2-year follow-up survey found no deterioration. He insisted on practicing Qigong every morning and evening to consolidate the therapeutic effect.
During the Liang dynasty (502-557 A.D.) the emperor invited a Buddhist monk named Da Mo, who was once an Indian prince, to preach Buddhism in China. When the emperor decided he did not like Da Mo's Buddhist theory, the monk withdrew to the Shaolin Temple. When Da Mo arrived, he saw that the priests were weak and sickly, so he shut himself away to ponder the problem. He emerged after nine years of seclusion and wrote two classics Yi Gin Ching (Muscle -Tendon Changing Classic) and Shii Soei Ching (Marrow Brain Washing Classic). The Muscle Tendon Changing Classic taught the priests how to gain health and change their physical bodies from weak to strong. The Marrow Brain Washing Classic taught the priests how to use Chi to clean the bone marrow and strengthen the blood and immune systems, as well as how to energize the brain and attain enlightenment. Because the Marrow Brain Washing Classic was harder to understand and practice, the training methods were passed down secretly to only a...
This formula is Yin and Yang power mixed at a higher bodily center. This is to reverse the aging process, to re-establish the thymus glands to increase natural immunity. This means that the radiation of healing energy stems from a more powerful point in the body and provides vast benefits to the physical and etheric organism.
Bones, muscle, tendons, lungs, as well as nervous, circulatory & immune systems can be strengthened beyond In fact, improper breathing can result in respiratory difficulties, heightened levels of stress, musculo-skeletal dysfunction, reduced immune system function and an overall depletion of our general health and well being. When our Breathing is healthy and strong, our body, mind, and spirit will reflect that health.
Is your Immune System Iutrition plays a pivotal role in the optimal functioning of the immune system and people who are nutritionally compromised will have frequent infections and also find infections difficult to shake off. They will be more prone to colds, flu, skin infections, Candida, parasites and other pathogenic organism invasion. This is where many people turn to antibiotics and other pharmaceutical preparations to try to help their body fight infection. There arc various nutrients that can be employed to help support the immune system and some of these will now be discussed. Essential fatty acids are important for all immune system functions as they play an important role in forming cell membranes. It is therefore imperative to take supplements of omega-3 (the best source is fish oil) and omega-6 - Starflower oil in order to boost the immune system. The Immune System The immune system is probably one of the most complex and diverse systems of the human body. It comprises...
Bone Breathing is one of the main practices of Cosmic Healing Chi Kung. This is a method of drawing external Chi through the skin into the bones to help replenish the bone marrow, thereby reactivating the production of white blood cells. Sending Chi into the bones will enhance functioning of the immune system. This process also helps to clean out fat in the bone marrow ( Washing the Marrow ), one of the main causes of osteoporosis (brittleness of the bones). Tension in the muscles close to the bones is decreased so Chi and blood can flow into the bones easily, enabling them to become stronger.
Today many people have low immune systems and so easily catch cold in the Winter. This is because their bodies are weak, lack exercise and have a poor diet. Here are some massage techniques for the nose and face that can help us prevent cold and flu. Practise these exercises three times a day at morning, sunset and evening before going to bed. When you massage, do it gently. Do not use force. These exercises will stimulate the Qi to go through these areas and will strengthen your immune system.
The skin is related to the lungs and the kidneys. Whenever there is an infection, the immune system is involved. If the problem is due to toxicity, also clean out the liver flushing with a combination of green and orange. Energize with green. Enhance the immune system by working on the sacrum.
Taught the priests how to regain their health and change their physical bodies from weak to strong. The Marrow Brain Washing Classic taught the priests how to use Qi to clean the bone marrow and strengthen the blood and the immune system, as well as how to energize the brain and attain enlightenment. Because the Marrow Brain Washing Classic was harder to understand and practice, the training methods were passed down in secret to only a very few disciples in each generation.
You respond much differently to a smile than you do to an angry look. A smile is uplifting. It makes you feel better. A smile helps your body relax. Your respiration, heart rate, immune system, every part of you is positively affected. An angry look creates the opposite reaction.
For example, this past winter, my one-year-old son got sick with the flu. After two days it was clear it was a severe strain of flu that wasn't going to pass quickly and build his immune system. It was starting to get worse. It was the really nasty flu, with fever and spewing and vomiting and diarrhea. So, on the third day, when he wasn't getting better I used the Spring Forest Qigong to help his body to heal. That was in the morning and by that night he was totally fine.
Qigong has been an integral part of Chinese culture since ancient China. This art, science and health maintenance system, practiced for thousands of years, uses stillness, movement, visualization, sound and breath in different combinations to strengthen, increase, generate, cleanse, refine, store, balance, circulate and discharge Qi. Qi energy is essential for health, healing, vitality, fitness and transformation of consciousness for spiritual development. Qigong exercises our internal organs, reduces stress, activates the natural healing process inside our bodies, strengthens our immune system, regulates all bodily functions and quiets the mind.
There are two ways to deal with this allopathically or naturally. The Taoist practices are in great conflict with 'contemporary (i.e., not alternative natural) western concepts'. The western concepts recommend a full course of antibiotics. Using the theories of Chi Kung, a baby for example, would absorb natural antibiotics via the bones. Western Allopathic Practice consider antibiotics as wonder drugs. The only 'wonder' is when will they realize the many harmful effects that it has on the body Babies that have been 'fed' with antibiotics frequently suffer many organ related problems by the time they reach 20 to 30 years of age. The worst thing is that they are given to children nearly every time that they become ill. If you scan (cosmically) the solar plexus, thymus or spleen of such a person, the area feels like a hollow void. This means that the immune system is totally non-functional. The same thing applies to Aids the immune system no longer functions. Any virus can enter the body...
The body has various mechanisms which combine to provide protection and defense against illness and disease. These mechanisms enable the body to produce various cells and bodies which act against invading or unwanted substances. As soon as a foreign body is recognized, the immune system will be triggered and will act to provide the most efficient means of eliminating the danger and return the body to a balanced state of health. A strong and healthy body will have good resources to protect itself from negative or sick energy. The aim of these practices is to help you to realize the potential of true harmony within yourself. To activate the immune and defense system is to increase the production of red and white blood cells. To do this we activate the bone marrow and lymphatic system. Guide the student or whole group together in all of these steps. You will not lose energy by doing this. You will gain more energy because you are all connected together in the group power. The crucial...
Understood energetic flow and balance, and through this philosophical outlook they understood the importance of body and mind balance. The Western view looks at the person as a conglomeration of the nervous system, brain function, and neuro-receptor sites, and until recently has downplayed the role of emotional state and stress on the body. Increasingly Western scientists understand the impact of emotion through thought in the cerebral cortex and emotional centers of the brain and the good and bad impact that these processes have on digestion, the immune system and various other aspects of mind-body health. The Taoists called the balance of mind-body health zheng
Don't forget, either, the connection between the brain and the immune system, when studying qigong. We need to do more detailed research on why it is possible to heal illness through qigong. This issue is being hotly debated in the medical world today. It is clear that the hypothalamic pituitary gland adrenal cortex system interacts with the immune system through adrenocortial hormones, and that neurotransmitter receptors for adrenaline, noradrenaline and acetylcholine influence lymphocytes directly, through the autonomic nervous system. In the future, studies of the underlying brain mechanisms may allow us to successfully heal patients, without relying on medicine as we know it now. But even before that point, we can practice the qigong which the ancients bequeathed us as a tradition for maintaining our physical and emotional well-being. I am sure that the secrets of the brain will be illuminated someday.
The stress response is designed to get you out of immediate danger Your body mobilizes energy and delivers it where it's needed most. Glucose and amino acids are released from storage in your fat cells, your liver, and your muscles. Heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate all go up. Blood supply is shunted from the organs (except for the heart and lungs) to the skeletal muscles. Pain is suppressed, and the mind achieves a peculiar clarity. Digestion shuts down, regenerative processes are put on hold, reproductive urges and capabilities dwindle, and, for some as yet unexplained reason, the body starts actively dismantling the immune system.
Continue smiling down to the thymus gland at the base of the throat, known to Daoists as the little heart that nourishes the immortal child within. Smile inside it, feel it open like a flower, the way it was when you were a child. It can revitalize your immune system, as the source of your most important T-cells. Smile, and feel for the smiling response. 30 seconds silent practice.
Essentially, the more drugs we take, the less we rely on nature and ourselves to heal the body. The body should be able to balance itself and create its own defences to fight any problems. The more we rely on outside things, the weaker our immune system will get. For myself, I always say that Qigong is my medicine.
Activate the Defense and Immune System Bone Marrow A tissue rich in fats, containing plenty of nourishment for the comprehensive production of the different blood cells red cells for the transport of oxygen, blood platelets for clotting and the various white cells for the immune system. Bacterium Represents the foreign invader, but it is only one of many invaders. Parasites, fungi, viruses, chemicals, mineral fragments, metal particles these and a great deal besides, set the immune system to work. Thymus Gland Perhaps the most important organ of the immune system. The vital training of the different T-lymphocytes takes place inside. When they pass through the thymus they receive a program to convert them into 'T' lymph cells. When they pass through the liver and large intestine they become 'B' cells and helper cells. The illustration below is a highly schematic and simplified picture of our immune system. Top left, the pale yellow 'house' symbolizes the bone marrow, where all blood...
Qigong meditation relieves stress, which is one of the major causes of disease. It also slows the heart rate and respiration. It strengthens the immune system. When you do meditation, your brain sends chemical messages to your body to help you relax. It also enhances an over all
Cancer today is becoming more and more common. There is so much radiation in the environment, from satellites, mobile phones and computers. Our food is no longer natural, with so much of it genetically modified or with the nutritional value reduced through intensive farming. We are exposed to pollution every day. Even the chemicals from our household cleaning agents threaten our health if we do not do something to get rid of the toxins. Fasting and detoxifying can help, but they do not make your Qi stronger, and this is most important. When our Qi is strong, we can fight illness better. Qigong helps to make the immune system stronger.
The value ofthe exercise lies in exercising the full radius ofthe curve ofeveryjoint. Expressed in the West by the idea of use it or lose it, Ba Gua is the ideal exercise, adapting the principle of Chinese medicine, which teaches that a moving door harbors no worm. In the maintenance of health it is essential to strengthen the muscles and open the energetic pathways so that the meridians and joints are fully exercised. This concept is not limited to just one part of one range of muscle movement, but applies to every curve of every bone, as the full movement of every joint is maintained. Of the martial arts, only Ba Gua provides this type of full body exercise. With regular Ba Gua exercise there is an increased chance to have health and well-being into your later years.
