Exercises For Puerperal Restoration

Women who have given birth to a child all hope that their body may look like it did in their maiden life. This is possible if one practises the exercises for puerperal restoration. A brief introduction of these exercises is as follows:

1. Stand with the arms raising up forcefully, or perform sit-ups, or stretch the arms backwards when sitting on a chair without a back.

2. Stand straight and stretch the arms downwards until they touch the ground. Or, lie on the back, get the body up with the hands holding the head and then raise both feet together or the feet alternately, forming an angle of 90 degrees. Or do frog kicks while sitting on a chair.

3. Stand straight and raise both elbows, turning the upper part of the body rightward and leftward while keeping the lower part unmoved. Or, sit on a chair, twist the waist with the hands holding the head.

Generally, one month after beginning this exercise, the waist measurement will lessen about 3 cm on average.
