1) Exercise method a. Push the left hand out, with the palm inward at the level of the eyes and move the right hand forward with its palm facing the left at the level of the navel.
Turn the waist to the left while moving both hands left along. Inhale at the same time. (Fig. 67-1)
b. Turn the waist to the left as far as you can, while lifting the right hand to the height of the eye with the palm facing inward and bring down the left hand to the level of the navel with the palm facing the right. Move both hands to the right along with the turning of the waist. Exhale at the same time. (Fig. 67-2)
The movements of the hands should be gentle. The eyes always follow the upper hand.
