1) Exercise method
a. Stand in the horse riding stance. Clench both hands and let them hang akimbo with the fist centres up and the tiger's mouth facing out. Draw the left elbow backward, turn the upper part of the body to the left, straighten right hand and push it out with strength. Inhale at the same time. Then return the original posture and exhale. (Fig. 66-1).
b. Draw the right elbow back, turn the upper part of the body to the right, change the left fist into a palm and push it out. Inhale at the same time. (Fig. 66-2)
Pushing the palm forward is the movement of stretching the wrist with the fingers up and the hypothenar facing forward. Push one hand forward while drawing back the other. The strength is putting forth to the opposite sides. Inhale when pushing rightwards and exhale when pushing leftwards.
