In the world of qi, human beings are still in the primitive stage, like babies who often stumble and fall when they start to walk. As you continue to practice qigong, you may see psychological and physical changes. As long as you are practicing the Microcosmic Orbit method properly, no particular change will occur. But when you begin to realize that you are communicating with the qi of the universe, you will start to change. Don't be afraid of this change, because it is a form of evolution. You will come to understand that you are more than your physical body and that human beings exchange qi energy constantly with all other forms of existence. In this respect, proper training in absorbing and releasing external qi is necessary. Money and material goods may decrease with use, but external qi does not. You can obtain as much external qi as you want. The best way to realize that qi is limitless is to rid yourself of all egoism.
Dozens of my former patients have been practicing the Microcosmic and Macrocosmic Orbit methods for several years and have now learned to release external qi, although at first their qi energy was weaker than most people's.They come to see me for advice only when they run into a problem. Often they complain of "crooked qi" caused by releasing qi to heal people suffering from difficult diseases. I always praise them for having this complaint. They look puzzled at first. But when they realize that this kind of difficulty is a normal step in the process of their evolution, the problem is half solved. If they still complain about a troubled qi flow, I will correct it, but often they learn quickly how to resolve the problem themselves.
If you feel that you have received negative qi, hold your hands under running water and imagine that you are washing negative qi away. This is an easy way to solve various ^¿-related problems. If you need more powerful effects, take a shower, again using your imagination in this same way. Japanese people have traditionally poured cold water over themselves or stood under waterfalls as a spiritual and ascetic exercise. Maybe we should pay more attention to traditional methods of cleansing qi. However, it is also important to remember that healing patients is not an essential part of the training to use external qi. Everyone has self-healing power. When you try to heal patients, you are simply activating their self-healing power. Your power to heal should be considered nothing more than getting patients warmed up. Making patients depend on your healing power is not recommended.
