Professor Ming Pang Pang Lao

Professor Ming Pang, the founder of Zhineng Qigong science, is known as Pang Lao Shi by his students. He has achieved great attainment in Traditional Chinese Medicine, diverse forms of chigong, various martial arts, and modern and ancient philosophy; and, while not a physician, he is well versed in Western medicine.

From early childhood, Professor Pang began his training in various types of traditional chigongs. His teachers, numbering nineteen grandmasters in all, came from backgrounds in Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, martial arts, various folk chigong practices, and many other disciplines.

In 1980, Professor Pang announced the birth of Zhineng Qigong. Since then, millions of people have joined the growing mass movement of Zhineng Qigong practice.

Professor Pang has authored a number of seminal works on Zhineng Qigong science: nine textbooks for two-year full-time college level students, as well as other elementary and secondary textbooks. He is also the editor-in-chief of several chigong journals in China.

Professor Pang is the President of the Zhineng Qigong Branch Society of China Qigong Science Association. He is also the President of the Center of Qigong Intelligence Science. His other titles include: President of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Training and Recovering Center, Chairman of the board of the Zhineng Shen Food & Drink Corp. Ltd., and President of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Science Institute.
